End-User Privacy Policy for the Audience Flow Manager

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of the Audience Flow Manager (“AFM”, “Service”) from zlyde GmbH ("zlyde", “we” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of information about you as an End-User (someone who is using our Service).

zlyde receives information about you when you use the AFM. Upon using this service, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. The information you provide may be processed and/or accessed by us.

What is covered?

This Policy covers the treatment of the information gathered by zlyde when you are using the Audience Flow Manager.

It does not apply to the practices of other businesses that zlyde does not own or control, including other companies’ websites, services and applications (“Third Party Services”). We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any Third Party Services you access.

What information do we collect and how is it used?

The information we collect is used to process and complete transactions (e.g. a redirect), to personalize and improve the Services, to monitor and analyze usage and trends as well as to make recommendations for our customers in order to optimize the Service.

In connection with certain aspects of the AFM for customers (such as Analytics), we may request, collect and/or display some non-identifying information about you.

The following types of information is collected:

Collected Metrics

zlyde collects information about accesses (here: “clicks”) of every zlyde Link created through our AFM Service. This information, if available, includes:

These metrics and analytics are used by zlyde and its partners to improve their websites and services by, for example, providing value-added features.

Information Collected Automatically

zlyde automatically receives and records information from your web browser when you interact with the AFM (here: “are redirected”), such as your browser type, your general location or your AFM cookie, if previously set. This information may be used to help us understand how you transit a website, to fight bots/crawler and to facilitate collection of data concerning your interaction with the Service (e.g., what Links you have clicked on).

Generally, the AFM automatically collects usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors of a Link. zlyde may use this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us and our customers to figure out how often individuals use parts of the Services so that we can analyze and improve them.

AFM Links and Usage Information

The usage of our Service may be shared in anonymized and/or aggregated form (in other words, non-personally identifiable) with our customers and business partners, such as the owners of the URLs that are shared through the Service. This information enables them to, among other things, better understand how people use their products and services and other products and services, to learn about the interests their users have and how our Services interoperate with their services, to do product development, marketing optimization and research, and to improve the relevancy of any online advertisements or marketing that is displayed through their services (or to tailor it to your interests).

The information on usage mentioned above is partly tracked using cookies.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are pieces of text that may be provided to your computer through your web browser when you access a website. Your browser stores cookies in a manner associated with each website you visit. We use cookies to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you visit our Site and use the Services through the web.

zlyde AFM cookies also allow zlyde to track when you have clicked on one of our Links. Each click of an AFM Link is tracked using a unique identifier assigned to you in one or more cookies stored by your web browser and associated with zlyde.

zlyde cookies do not, by themselves, contain any personal information about you, and we do not combine the general information collected through cookies with your personal information to tell us who you are. We do, however, use cookies to identify that your web browser has accessed an AFM Link.

Common browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. In addition, zlyde respects the DoNotTrack Header (Wikpedia entry). If you disable cookies, you will not be able use most features of the Services. zlyde cookies are set to never expire.

You may also opt-out of any cookie we currently set using the AFM domain https://zly.de and any links connected to it. Opting out means that we delete any cookies originating from the domain https://zly.de.

This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by zlyde only and does not cover the use of cookies by any Third Party Services or Domains. zlyde does not control when or how third parties place cookies on your computer, such as when you visit the website from an AFM Link.

IP Address Information

We do not store or share IP address information.

We do, however, use a users' IP once in order to determine the location of where our Service (AFM Links) was accessed from.
